Description:
The Data Engineer Lead at Distinguished Programs will provide expertise and leadership in data management, governance, AI, and modeling.
Responsibilities include leading and guiding the team, managing the data warehouse, working with unstructured and big data, defining the roadmap for AI, providing business intelligence, and collaborating on new data projects.
The role involves identifying pain points in existing data models and collaborating with other areas to develop standards and best practices.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance is required.
Must have 5+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring a data team.
Expert knowledge in Azure Cloud, SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI is essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Systems Analytics, or relevant experience is required.
Proven oversight of data modeling, establishing performance metrics, and advanced data management skills are necessary.
The ideal candidate should be highly collaborative, a practical problem solver, and have a flexible and adaptable attitude.
Benefits:
The position offers a base salary of $180,000 to $225,000 plus a bonus, commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
