Description:
Capco is a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services and energy sectors, with 33 offices across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
The company is seeking a Data Engineer with experience in data solutions on the Azure platform.
The professional will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing data pipelines, as well as designing and implementing data storage, integration, and analysis solutions.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and enable strategic data initiatives.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related technologies, implementing and optimizing data storage solutions in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and OneLake, developing and maintaining data structures in SQL Server and SQL Data Warehouse to support business analysis and reporting, building interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI (PBI) for Business Intelligence needs, and acting as a reference point for data engineering practices on the Azure platform.
Requirements:
Proven experience with ADLS/OneLake storage is required.
Advanced knowledge in Azure Data Engineering and Azure Data Factory (ADF) is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL Server and SQL Data Warehouse is essential.
Experience with Business Intelligence and dashboard development in Power BI (PBI) is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Synapse Analytics and Spark SQL, knowledge of Gen AI and Copilot for data workflow automation and improvements, experience with MS Fabric, and familiarity with Shortcuts and Mirroring in complex data scenarios.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields is desired.
Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering or BI will be considered a plus.
Experience in projects involving large-scale data and modern data architectures is preferred.
Advanced English proficiency is required.
