Description:

3Pillar is seeking a Data Engineer with a focus on Python to join their team in the Czech Republic.
The role involves understanding business requirements and writing code to implement proposed solutions.
Responsibilities include creating data pipelines, managing versioning and change management, and building and maintaining ETL processes.
The Data Engineer will ensure data quality, log and instrument pipelines and services, and possess strong debugging skills to analyze and fix defects in data processing.
Collaboration and teamwork are essential for this position.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases are required.
Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using libraries such as Panda and NumPy are necessary.
Experience in writing ETL/pipeline code and data collection from multiple sources based on business needs is essential.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required, including specific tools like Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, ECS, Lambda, and S3.
Proficiency in GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Terraform is necessary.
Candidates must be proficient in the English language.
