Description:

The Data Engineer will focus on architecture, pipeline design, and development, contributing to the design and building of data platforms and analytics applications.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and producing data-intensive applications and pipelines, adapting existing pipelines, extracting and cleaning data from external sources, diagnosing production issues, modifying SQL database schemas, collaborating with the DevOps team, and improving data engineering standards and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in Python, with Java as a nice-to-have.
Experience with data analysis and a strong interest in Data Engineering and DevOps topics is required.
Candidates should enjoy wrangling data and have experience designing and building data pipelines for reporting and analytics applications.
Familiarity with tools such as Pandas, Snowflake, AWS (including AWS Athena, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda), relational databases, SQL, AWS Wrangler libraries, and CloudWatch is necessary.
Experience working with the Linux command line and on teams that have shipped and operated critical software systems is essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required.
