Description:

• As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and usability across various business processes.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about building efficient data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and working with cloud-based technologies.
• This position is remote and requires working US Shift hours from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.

Requirements:

• You should have 0-2 years of experience in a similar data profile.
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, including tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and database optimization for PostgreSQL and Redis is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and services like S3 and CloudFront is essential.
• Familiarity with ODBC adapters and APIs for integrating third-party systems is expected.
• Expertise in programming for data manipulation and pipeline orchestration is required.
• Familiarity with Ruby is a plus but not required.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, and Healthchecks.io is important.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for data pipelines and integrations are necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies is expected.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience working in a healthcare technology environment is a good to have.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar modern data warehouse platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI) is beneficial.
• Support experience in previous roles is advantageous.
