Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team in India, focused on building a modern, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure using Databricks.
The role involves designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and driving data integration from multiple business platforms into a centralized warehouse.
The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create solutions that support analytical insights and strategic decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities include owning and evolving data architecture to ensure high data quality, integration, and consistency across systems.
The engineer will build and maintain efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks, handling data from platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Hubspot.
The role requires integrating structured and unstructured data into the data lakehouse while maintaining data integrity and security.
Implementing automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data pipeline reliability is also a key responsibility.
The Data Engineer will document processes, workflows, and architectural decisions, promoting maintainability and best practices in data engineering.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop tailored data solutions is essential.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience using Databricks or similar platforms.
Strong SQL and Python programming skills for data manipulation and transformation are necessary.
Proven experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks environments is required.
A solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including storage and compute services, is essential.
Experience in integrating CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Hubspot) into data platforms is needed.
A strong background in data warehousing, schema design, query optimization, and data governance is required.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to data quality and performance are necessary.
