The Data Engineer position is remote and part-time, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
Responsibilities include managing and automating ETL processes, building and maintaining data pipelines for cleaning and manipulating large volumes of data from multiple sources.
The role supports the team in providing insights and scalable solutions to problems using exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning methods.
Additional tasks involve the maintenance and deployment of microservices and API design, as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation.
The candidate must be able to plan and prioritize tasks and coordinate with the team on requirements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience programming in Python.
Knowledge of developing, automating, and maintaining data engineering processes on the cloud (e.g., AWS, Scala, Spark) is required.
Familiarity with Python web frameworks and API design (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI, Pyramid, Falcon) is necessary.
Knowledge of data analysis and machine learning frameworks (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow) is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with deploying and managing microservices on cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS).
Familiarity with backend technologies, databases, and ORM (SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy) is required.
Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is €47,000 - €53,000.
