Description:
The Carwow Group is seeking a Data Engineer (SDE 3) to join their team, which is focused on empowering all Carwow teams with access to reliable, actionable data.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and implementing data workflows using tools like Airflow.
The Data Engineer will build and maintain data models and data warehouses using Snowflake or similar technologies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across the data lifecycle.
The position is fully remote, with opportunities to work from offices in London, Munich, Madrid, and Porto, and includes 4-5 trips to the London office for social and team bonding events.

Requirements:
Candidates should have experience in data engineering and be comfortable writing intermediate Python and SQL.
Experience in building ETL/ELT data pipelines and using data transformation tools like dbt is required.
Familiarity with managing script dependencies using tools like Airflow and experience with data warehouses, particularly Snowflake or similar technologies, is necessary.
While not mandatory, experience with Terraform, Ruby, data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), Amplitude, DevOps, Heroku, Kafka, and AWS/GCP is considered a plus.
