Description:

  • 2Brains is a consulting firm with over 350 professionals that integrates creativity, technology, business, and brands.
  • The company has extensive experience in the Latin American market, working with recognized brands to formulate and implement their strategies.
  • The Data Engineer will participate in the design and development of new management information models and maintain existing ones.
  • The role involves supporting advanced analytics initiatives by exploring internal and external information models (Data Discovery).
  • The Data Engineer will obtain historical data from multiple internal information sources to support the team's advanced analytics initiatives.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have experience in developing data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
  • Proficiency in orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Luigi is required.
  • The role requires automation and programming of complex data flows.
  • Management of relational databases (SQL) is essential.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Databases (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) is required.
  • The candidate should have experience in designing and building data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses.
  • Data modeling for analytical and operational environments is a must.
  • Knowledge of distributed processing tools and technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) is required.
  • Experience with cloud data services: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS is necessary.
  • Knowledge in integrating data flows with machine learning models is desirable.
  • The candidate should have experience with DevOps practices for automation, CI/CD, and monitoring in data pipelines.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Engineering roles is required.
  • Certifications such as Professional Data Engineer in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform are necessary.
  • Experience in developing data analysis or Business Intelligence (BI) solutions is desirable.
