Remote Data Engineer Specialist (Remote) at Acentra Health

Description:

The Data Engineer Specialist at Acentra Health will be responsible for the successful delivery of technology initiatives in a multi-Cloud platform, supporting Sales, Growth, and Business Development requirements.
The role involves collaborating with various teams to manage client relationships and contribute to code refactoring and data model re-engineering.
The specialist will work on query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning, as well as maintaining and optimizing data pipelines using AWS services.
Responsibilities also include ensuring data security and compliance in cloud environments, leveraging AWS cloud-native data storage solutions, and enhancing data engineering skills on new practices and frameworks.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
10+ years of hands-on experience in database programming, performance tuning using SQL, and various relational database management systems (RDBMS) like Oracle.
Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC), as well as in the healthcare industry, Medicaid, and/or Medicare.
Proficiency in Oracle SQL / PL/SQL, creating database tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Strong understanding of data models, data partitioning, data retention, and data archival strategies in high-volume database environments.
Experience with Oracle 19c is essential; familiarity with Postgres is a plus.

The compensation for the Data Engineer Specialist position ranges from $121,900.00 to $182,900.00, based on years of applicable experience and skill level.
