Remote Data Engineer (Talend) - Remote

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related IT experience is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of development experience with Talend Data Integration module and Talend Administration Center, Data Quality, API Designer, and Services.
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Oracle RDBMS, Java programming, PL-SQL, API integration (REST), Unix/Linux, Shell script, and source-code control using GitLab is necessary.
• Familiarity with database schema, object management, data modeling & architecture, data warehouse design, CI/CD, DevOps development, and secure coding practices is essential.
• Knowledge in emerging cloud technologies related to Big Data and previous experience in the Finance/Banking industry are advantageous.
• Performance tuning experience is a plus.
• The candidate must be willing to perform additional job duties as required.
