Remote Data Engineering Lead

Description:

• Equip is a virtual program dedicated to helping families recover from eating disorders with comprehensive care provided by experts and individuals in recovery.
• The Data Engineering Lead will oversee the evolution of Equip's data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring the availability and reliability of data to improve patient lives.
• Responsibilities include designing and planning data engineering projects, providing hands-on technical guidance, maintaining expertise in information systems, and championing engineering best practices.
• The role involves monitoring quality metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work, and partnering with technical stakeholders to optimize data flow across systems.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of Data Engineering experience and at least 1+ years of people management experience.
• A proven ability to empower others through individual attention, engagement, and direct feedback is essential.
• Expertise in SQL and Python is required, along with experience in building, maintaining, and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data systems, large-scale data ingestion, and the ability to write clear, maintainable code is necessary.
• Experience with Terraform, API development, and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS services) is preferred.
• Candidates should be organized, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, with an additional annual target cash bonus of 20%.
• Total target cash compensation can range from $168,000 to $206,000, depending on salary and bonus.
