Equip is a virtual program dedicated to helping families recover from eating disorders with comprehensive care provided by experts and individuals in recovery.
The Data Engineering Lead will oversee the evolution of Equip's data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring the availability and reliability of data to improve patient lives.
Responsibilities include designing and planning data engineering projects, providing hands-on technical guidance, maintaining expertise in information systems, and championing engineering best practices.
The role involves monitoring quality metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work, and partnering with technical stakeholders to optimize data flow across systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of Data Engineering experience and at least 1+ years of people management experience.
A proven ability to empower others through individual attention, engagement, and direct feedback is essential.
Expertise in SQL and Python is required, along with experience in building, maintaining, and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud-based data systems, large-scale data ingestion, and the ability to write clear, maintainable code is necessary.
Experience with Terraform, API development, and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS services) is preferred.
Candidates should be organized, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, with an additional annual target cash bonus of 20%.
Total target cash compensation can range from $168,000 to $206,000, depending on salary and bonus.
