The company is looking for a Data Infra Engineer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities include designing and deploying improvements to mission-critical production data pipelines, data warehouses, and data systems.
The engineer will recognize data flow patterns and generalizations to automate processes to drive productivity gains.
The role involves expanding logging and monitoring processes to discover and resolve anomalies and issues proactively.
The engineer will develop state-of-the-art automation and data solutions using Python, Spark, and Flink, and maintain infrastructure related to Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark, Flink, Jenkins, OLAP, RDBMS databases, and S3 object buckets.
The role focuses heavily on infrastructure, including Terraform/Infra-as-code, CI/CD, Jenkins, Automation, Monitoring, Alerting, Security, and SQL.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with one of the following: Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, or Hive.
Proficiency in a high-level programming language is required, with the company using Python, Scala, Java, Kotlin, and Go.
Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration and deployment) is necessary for this position.
