Remote Data Integration Architect - SAP to Snowflake

Description:

• The Data Integration Architect will work remotely within the United States as part of a collaborative data strategy team at Digital Scientists.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing ETL processes using QLIK to extract data from SAP systems and load into Snowflake.
• The role involves assessing existing data structures in SAP, developing strategies to replicate critical business logic in Snowflake, and collaborating with stakeholders to define data needs.
• The Architect will provide technical leadership in data architecture, modeling, and governance, monitor system performance, recommend database system improvements, and educate staff members.
• Collaboration across time zones via various communication channels and working directly with clients are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with SAP systems and data structures.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools like QLIK and Stitch, along with a strong understanding of Snowflake cloud data warehousing.
• Experience in data architecture, database management, data security, and best practices.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in data integration, data engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing large datasets and designing scalable data architectures.
