The role of Data Integration Engineer/Data Ingest Engineer involves shaping the platform that powers data-driven products.
This position offers the opportunity to work on both operational and strategic initiatives, contributing to the success of the platform and customer implementations.
Responsibilities include triaging technical requests, scoping technical requirements, testing and verifying builds, supporting customer implementations, and collaborating with stakeholders.
The role also involves contributing to product development, designing solutions, advocating for platform enhancements, and driving rollout strategies.
Continuous improvement of processes and workflows is expected, along with effective communication across teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience working with APIs and ingesting data at scale.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data analysis techniques is required.
Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), testing, and peer reviews is essential.
The ability to deploy, configure, and optimize technical solutions for diverse customer requirements is necessary.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are important.
Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains is expected.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Apache NiFi, Spark, and working in Unix/Linux environments, as well as familiarity with networking and integrating data from on-premise and cloud-based tools.
