Servus Credit Union is seeking a Data Integration & Transformation Lead in their Data Technology Department, which is a remote position.
The role is permanent and full-time, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week.
The Data Integration and Transformation Lead will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of data initiatives across the organization.
This position involves leading a team of data specialists and engineering analysts to support data transformation solutions.
The candidate will ensure the flow and transformation of data from multiple sources to a centralized, cloud-based enterprise data environment.
Responsibilities include building and mentoring a team, collaborating with various stakeholders, ensuring data solution quality, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
The role also involves leading the design and development of machine learning pipelines, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to data integration projects.
The candidate will support organizational initiatives requiring data integration and transformation and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years in data technology roles, with at least 5 years in management.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Proven experience in engineering and maintaining data integration and transformation solutions is essential.
Experience with data pipeline tools such as ADF, AirFlow, Astronomer, and Azure Databricks pipeline is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud-based data integration tools like Azure Databricks, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and Synapse is required.
Understanding of data virtualization, DBT, and experience with Lakehouse Federation is considered an asset.
A strong understanding of data modeling, relational data structures, and various database design patterns is needed.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
Demonstrated ability in vendor relationship management is required.
