Servus Credit Union is seeking a full-time temporary Summer Data Intern in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB.
The position is remote and will last until August 29, 2025.
The Data Intern will be part of the Data Management team, which provides solutions and support for data management within the organization.
The team focuses on three main areas: Data Technology, Data Integration & Transformation, and Data Governance.
The intern will support the data team goals, including maintenance and support on various projects.
This is a junior entry-level role that offers the opportunity to learn from data experts and contribute to a data-driven organization.
Responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data, organizing and storing data in a database, analyzing data using statistical techniques and software such as SQL, creating visualizations and reports, assisting with data-driven projects, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with team members on data-related tasks.
Specific responsibilities may vary based on the Data Team goals and projects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a basic skill level in SQL and/or Python.
A post-secondary education in computer technology or an IT-related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
