Description:

The Data Intern position is part of the Analytics & Data Engineering team at 1Password, which focuses on delivering data capabilities and analytic products to drive strategic insights and growth.
Interns will collaborate with analysts, data engineering, and business partners to explore and ingest new data sources and build data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Big Data technologies.
Responsibilities include ensuring data transformation processes are tested, building data expertise, leveraging data controls for privacy and compliance, and maintaining production data pipelines through automation.
The internship is remote and designed to provide flexibility, allowing interns to set core hours with their manager and work when they are most productive.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) running for 4 months from May to August 2025.

Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL and data modeling is required for the position.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub is necessary.
