Remote Data Intern - Data & Analytics Eng - Winter 2025

Description:

• The Data Intern position is part of the Analytics & Data Engineering team at 1Password, which focuses on delivering data capabilities and analytic products to drive strategic insights and growth.
• Interns will work on various projects, including designing automated ETL processes and building tools to enhance company-wide productivity with data.
• The role is fully remote within Canada and is a full-time position (40 hours per week) running from January to April 2025.
• Interns will collaborate with analysts, data engineering, and business partners to explore and ingest new data sources and build data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Big Data technologies.
• Responsibilities include ensuring data transformation processes are tested, building data expertise, leveraging data controls for privacy and compliance, and maintaining production data pipelines with automation and issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling is required for the position.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub is necessary.
