The Data Lead will drive data projects across multiple departments and various data disciplines, including Dashboarding, Deep Dives, and applying ML techniques.
This role will ensure that self-service analytics empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
The Data Lead will prioritize projects that enhance data capabilities and deliver clear business impacts.
Responsibilities include designing and delivering in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making and building robust data relationships across the business.
The role emphasizes the importance of close relationships between analysts and stakeholders to foster a well-functioning data team.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in data roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with Tableau or other visualization tools are required.
Preferably, candidates should have experience in financial services, specifically in mortgages.
Strong analytical skills are necessary to turn business problems into data problems and present actionable insights.
Exceptional communication skills are required to articulate data insights and influence stakeholders.
High levels of organization and a passion for driving data-driven improvements are essential.
It would be beneficial to have experience with DBT, data modeling, and machine learning/AI in Python, R, or another programming language.
Proficiency with GCP/AWS, especially their ML/AI services, is also a plus.
