Description:
OCT Consulting, LLC is seeking a Data Modeler/Data Architect to work with their federal client, focusing on various data-related tasks.
Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data requirements, mapping and integrating data, developing conceptual and logical data models, and ensuring data security and privacy.
The role involves standardizing and normalizing data, implementing data quality assurance measures, establishing data governance frameworks, and promoting collaboration and communication within the team.
Continuous improvement is a key aspect of the position, with a focus on enhancing data models, optimizing data management processes, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience as a Data Modeler/Data Architect.
Proficiency in working on the Azure platform and data modeling languages is required.
Familiarity with data infrastructure best practices, data governance principles, data quality management, and metadata management is essential.
Previous experience in the federal government context, especially with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is advantageous.
Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary, along with knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, and other MS Office tools.
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
Candidates must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance and must be US Citizens.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $150,000-165,000 per year based on education and experience.
