Description:
Design and architect scalable and reliable data pipeline solutions for automating data ingestion, processing, and transformation tasks.
Integrate data from various sources like databases, files, APIs, and streaming platforms into the data pipeline ecosystem.
Develop and maintain data processing workflows to cleanse, enrich, and transform raw data for analysis and reporting.
Orchestrate and schedule data pipeline workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
Optimize data pipeline performance for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling mechanisms for ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Monitor data pipeline performance, proactively identify and address issues, and optimize resource utilization.
Document data pipeline architecture, processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and transparency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong background in data engineering with hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipeline solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or Apache Flink.
Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
Familiarity with data integration techniques, ETL processes, and streaming data processing.
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for tackling technical challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
