Description:

• Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Development Lead for the United States Air Force's Rapid Sustainment Office Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) initiative.
• This role involves building a cutting-edge data platform and implementing a "data as a product" philosophy.
• The position will directly impact aircraft maintenance optimization, increasing aircraft availability, and minimizing downtime.
• Responsibilities include defining and leading the strategic vision for the data platform, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs, and translating them into actionable priorities.
• The lead will partner with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to ensure the platform is scalable and reliable.
• The role requires advocating for best practices in data governance, quality, and accessibility within the USAF’s Advana enclave.
• The lead will oversee the development and execution of a data roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Acting as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, the lead will facilitate clear communication and alignment.
• The position promotes data-driven decision-making through effective storytelling and reporting.
• Staying informed on emerging trends in data infrastructure and products is essential, with recommendations for innovations where appropriate.

Requirements:

• An active Secret Clearance is required for this position.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience is necessary.
• Candidates must demonstrate expertise in leveraging data to drive business strategy and outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects or teams for at least 5 years are essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile or collaborative team environment is necessary.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms, tools, and frameworks (e.g., cloud data storage, visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI) is required.
