Description:
DriveWealth is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team to create data products for customers.
The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, including replication, batch, and streaming processes.
The candidate will work closely with analytics engineers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to interpret requirements and build efficient data processing services.
Responsibilities include providing thought leadership on architecture, mentoring other data engineers, and collaborating with the broader data & analytics team to build self-service data products.
The ideal candidate will help shape the direction of data and analytics at DriveWealth by balancing priorities and building top-tier data products.
Requirements:
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience solving data problems with business partners.
Experience working within a larger data team and familiarity with CI/CD processes and AGILE development is required.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL, Databricks, and AWS is essential.
Knowledge of modern orchestration platforms like DBT, Airflow, etc., and experience with Terraform, Shell Scripting, GIT, Databricks CLI, and other Command Line Tools is necessary.
A BS in Computer Science or equivalent program is required.
Bonus points for FinTech or stock market experience and familiarity with GDPR, FINRA, or other regulations.
