Description:

  • Kontakt.io is building a platform that care operations run on, aiming to reduce waste, cut costs, and improve revenue by enhancing asset utilization and staff productivity.
  • The platform utilizes AI, RTLS, and EHR data to enable self-learning agents to automate workflows, adapt in real-time, and orchestrate care delivery operations.
  • As a Data Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data infrastructure.
  • You will work with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to enable real-time analytics, data ingestion, and machine learning applications.
  • Your contributions will facilitate AI-powered automation, helping hospitals and healthcare facilities improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver better, faster care.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and automation is required.
  • Hands-on experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark is necessary.
  • You should have experience with streaming and batch processing using Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and their data processing services is essential.
  • Expertise in TimeScale is required.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is expected.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, hospital operations, or real-time systems is a bonus.
  • Experience working with EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is also a bonus.
