Description:
- As a Data Platform Engineer at Owner.com, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable and efficient Data Platform to drive business value.
- Your role will involve preparing Single Source of Truth (SSOT) data models for all departments, improving Data Team efficiency, and enhancing data infrastructure to support analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- You will optimize data ingestion and integration processes from various sources to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to improve data quality within all business systems used by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role.
- Proven track record of developing and managing Data Platforms from scratch.
- Expertise in Snowflake, including configuring data warehouses, performance optimizations, and implementing security policies.
- Strong SQL and DBT skills with a track record of designing data models and establishing a Single Source of Truth (SSOT).
- Ability to build end-to-end Data products and moderate Python experience is a plus.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and experience in SaaS or startups preferred.
- Prior experience in the restaurant industry is advantageous.
