Remote Data Platform Engineer (Full Remote Policy)

Description:

• Brevo is seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team in a fully remote position.
• The role involves architecting, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data platforms using MongoDB and Clickhouse.
• Responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing the performance of databases, managing data storage solutions, and ensuring data integrity and security.
• The engineer will develop and implement data integration processes and work closely with internal teams to meet business data requirements.
• Automation of data processing pipelines and diagnosing database-related issues are also key tasks.
• Comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and procedures is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong experience in MongoDB and/or Clickhouse, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in database schema design and data modeling is essential.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks are required.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation is necessary.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is expected.
• Understanding of cloud-based data solutions and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is important.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are a must.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment and management is beneficial.
