Description:

Tala is on a mission to unleash the economic power of the Global Majority, serving millions of customers across three continents.
The Data Platform Engineering team is building the infrastructure to support a best-in-class decision engine.
The role requires excellent communication to collaborate with key partners such as Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analytics Engineers.
The team serves internal clients by setting up, maintaining, and evolving infrastructure and tooling.
Responsibilities include working collaboratively with QA, Product, and Business teams to identify project needs and negotiate scopes of work.
The role involves understanding project goals clearly and grasping how they fit into the larger scope of the business.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience working on software engineering, specifically using Python.
Experience with Git is required.
It is a plus if candidates have worked on a cloud and deployed a personal project in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Freelancing experience during university years is also considered a nice to have.
