Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to work remotely in the United States.
The role involves designing and improving scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support analytics and product decisions.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to build efficient systems that ensure data quality, reliability, and security.
The engineer will focus on enhancing performance, observability, and scalability across the organization’s modern data stack.
Key accountabilities include designing and building scalable data pipelines, optimizing orchestration tools, improving system observability, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
The engineer will participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to platform evolution by staying current with data engineering trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in software development as a data or backend engineer.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation is required.
Familiarity with technologies such as Airflow, Docker, Kafka, Snowflake, AWS, and Terraform is necessary.
Strong knowledge of engineering best practices in coding, testing, and design is essential.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions is required.
The ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced team environment is important.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for data-driven solutions, are essential.
