Description:
The Data Protection Officer / Lead DPO & In-House Expert will empower companies' growth by making data protection simple, easy, and interesting through the combination of technology and experts.

The successful candidate will shape the future of the business with deep data protection expertise, mentor a top-tier team, and work cross-functionally to enhance services and education.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the Product Team to influence product development, leading customer interactions, and being the go-to privacy advisor for a select portfolio of customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience in global data protection roles (UK, EU, US) and hold certifications such as CIPP/E, C-DPO, or equivalent.
A deep knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, international data transfers, AI, healthcare, and finance is essential.
Strong communication skills are required to simplify complex topics and lead discussions at the C-Suite or Board Level.
Candidates should possess strong risk management skills, including advising, monitoring, and reporting on risks, as well as managing data subject access requests and breach incidents.
The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively is necessary.
Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration is required to align strategy and drive results.
Candidates must be tech-savvy and comfortable with innovative tools.
