Description:

  • Nimble Gravity is seeking a talented and passionate Data Scientist to join their growing data science team.
  • The selected individual will handle, analyze, and visualize complex data, contributing to innovative solutions that drive industry success.
  • Responsibilities include participating in client meetings to understand and gather requirements, and communicating technical findings to non-technical business people.
  • The role involves applying advanced statistical techniques and machine learning to analyze, interpret, and visualize large data sets.
  • The Data Scientist will design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms using tools such as Python and SQL.
  • They will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to implement data-based solutions and improvements.
  • The position requires creating and maintaining efficient and automated data workflows using cloud technologies like AWS or GCP.
  • The Data Scientist will evaluate and monitor model performance, making continuous adjustments and improvements.
  • Compliance with regulations and ethical practices related to data handling and processing is essential.
  • Continuous learning is encouraged, with participation in training and workshops as necessary.
  • The role includes creating detailed technical documentation and reports to facilitate understanding and replication of processes and results.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a related role.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written, is essential for this position.
  • Technical skills required include experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL, as well as knowledge in statistical models and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS or GCP is necessary.
  • Knowledge in data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn is also required.
  • Soft skills include the ability to work autonomously and in a team, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
