The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing and extracting knowledge from data using Machine Learning techniques, statistics, and advanced analysis to optimize decision-making and generate business impact.
The Data Scientist collaborates with the digital team to develop data products, ensuring their quality, documentation, and proper implementation.
Responsibilities include analyzing large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities, designing and implementing Machine Learning models, and applying experimentation methods to measure the impact of solutions.
The role also involves ensuring proper documentation of models and processes, continuously optimizing models based on performance and new data, and collaborating with business and technology teams to align data solutions with strategic objectives.
The Data Scientist is expected to explore new tools and technologies to enhance data usage within the organization.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and Spark for programming Machine Learning models, performing statistical analysis, and manipulating data, as well as processing large volumes of data in parallel and at scale.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and model evaluation metrics.
Experience with A/B testing and model deployment.
Strong background in statistical analysis and data product development.
Desirable skills include NoSQL, Bayesian Statistics, and advanced MLOps.
Familiarity with visualization tools such as Streamlit is a plus.
