FIT:MATCH is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist with 3D and Computer vision experience to join their team.
The role involves designing and optimizing 3D data collection, processing, and analytics.
You will contribute to the development of systems with applications across various industries, working with formalized coding standards.
This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates willing to work EST hours.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, designing and implementing 3D technology using Python, developing computer vision algorithms, creating software components for data acquisition and visualization, working on 3D point cloud processing, conducting performance testing, and staying updated with advancements in 3D technology.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 3-4 years of professional work experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in 3D technology integration is necessary.
Strong proficiency in computer vision, including feature detection, tracking, and 3D reconstruction is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and relevant libraries (OpenCV, PCL) is essential.
Experience with 3D data processing, point cloud manipulation, and object recognition is needed.
Familiarity with various 3D data formats is required.
Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning for computer vision tasks is necessary.
Familiarity with hardware design and sensor integration is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Nice to have: C++ working experience and startup experience.
