The position requires prior experience supporting Data Governance initiatives, including Data Quality, Metadata Management (Data Cataloging, Data Lineage), Master Data Management, and Data Security.
Candidates should have experience in building high-quality applications, data pipelines, and analytics solutions while ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in software engineering languages and methodologies is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Jupyter/Colab notebooks is required.
The role involves providing ongoing support for existing ETL processes and procedures, as well as designing, coding, and deploying new ETL pipelines to meet application and business needs.
The candidate will need to develop effective working relationships with Data Analysts, Data Architects, Database Administrators, and others to design, develop, and implement robust data management solutions.
A strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL unstructured and structured data is essential.
The ability to translate business rules into ETL code while adhering to best ETL development and design practices is expected.
Proficiency in SQL language and a working knowledge of common transformation methodologies, techniques, and tools are required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7-15 years of experience in data science or data analytics.
Experience in reviewing and building dimensional data models to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data is necessary.
The candidate should have experience in leading, hiring, developing, and building a data engineering team while providing them with technical direction.
Proficiency in writing advanced SQLs and expertise in performance tuning of SQLs is required.
ETL coding for development and design practices is essential.
A good understanding of development processes and agile methodologies is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are required.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure/AWS, and familiarity with GCP is necessary.
