The Data Scientist role involves tackling complex challenges in cyber risk analytics, reporting directly to the Head of Data, and building models using Python and SQL.
Requirements:
A BS/MS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Candidates must have experience in building and deploying models in a production environment, with a preference for Python.
Exposure to linear regression, random forest, neural networks, and other machine learning techniques is necessary.
Current experience using SQL is required.
Experience working with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels is essential.
The ability to work quickly while writing clean, efficient, and reusable code is important.
Candidates should have the ability to learn new technologies and evaluate multiple technologies to solve problems.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
Industry experience in Cyber Security or Cyber Risk Quantification is a nice-to-have.
