Our client, an innovative AI-focused company, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to contribute to their advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
This role focuses on data cleaning, preparation, and building predictive models using classic machine learning techniques.
The position is fully remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM PST.
Key responsibilities include cleaning, structuring, and preparing tabular data for analysis, building and optimizing predictive models, using Python and relevant libraries for data analysis and visualization, reading API documentation for data retrieval, utilizing advanced SQL concepts for data manipulation, managing code versioning with Git and GitHub, deploying code with Docker, and collaborating through coding platforms like Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab.
Success in this role is defined by having clean and well-structured datasets, high-performance predictive models, efficient data transformation, seamless data integration through APIs, and smooth collaborative workflows.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
Prior experience in AI and machine learning is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib/Plotly, and SHAP is required.
A strong understanding of predictive analytics and classic machine learning techniques is necessary.
Advanced SQL knowledge, including concepts like Join and Group By, is essential.
Experience with Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, or equivalent code editors is required.
Candidates must be able to work with REST APIs and manipulate data programmatically.
Familiarity with Git and GitHub for code versioning is necessary.
Experience with Docker for deploying code is required.
Candidates should be highly detail-oriented, proactive, solution-driven, and possess strong communication skills.
