  • The Data Scientist role is remote and reports to the Chief Learning Officer (CLO).
  • The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 per year.
  • The new hire will lead data initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and help build the next generation data infrastructure.
  • Key activities include designing data pipelines, creating dashboards, performing exploratory data analysis, and developing machine learning models.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • A strong foundation in statistics, data analysis, and machine learning algorithms is required.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is necessary.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure is essential, particularly in deploying machine learning models.
  • Substantial experience in SQL and working with large datasets, including data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation is required.
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools and concepts is important, along with an understanding of data models and pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed to present complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with best practices for tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and version control is necessary.
  • Proven ability to take projects from conceptualization to deployment is required, along with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
