Influ2 is seeking a versatile Data Scientist / Applied ML Engineer to join their R&D team, focusing on hands-on ML experimentation and R&D exploration.
The role involves discovering and validating new ideas, defining abstract problems, exploring modeling opportunities, and building working prototypes.
Responsibilities include understanding product opportunities, leading research initiatives end-to-end, prototyping solutions, integrating and evaluating models, working hands-on with tools, operating independently, and collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in applied ML or data science roles.
Solid Python skills and experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and matplotlib are required; Keras experience is a plus.
Applicants should be confident in designing and running experiments to test hypotheses, validate results, and automate processes at scale.
Hands-on experience applying ML to real business use cases is necessary.
Good knowledge of statistics, modeling, and machine learning fundamentals is expected.
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases (SELECT-level queries) is required.
Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to scope problems with minimal direction.
Strong communication skills for conveying analytical findings and solution ideas across teams are essential.
A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and natural curiosity are important traits.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher is required.
