Description:
We are looking for a passionate Product Insights Data Scientist II to help transform the audiobook landscape.
You will play a key part in expanding the audiobook format into new markets and developing Spotify for Authors as the most valuable platform for creators.
Your expertise will deepen our understanding of consumer preferences, creator ecosystems, and format innovation.
This role will ultimately help create an unparalleled experience for our users.
You will partner with Product, Business, Engineering, and Design teams to develop and implement strategies that drive our mission forward.
You will craft and refine key performance metrics that measure the impact of product features and mission progress.
You will develop new datasets, features, and reports that provide fresh insights into user behavior and creator interactions.
You will perform comprehensive analyses on user behavior, product usage, and market trends to uncover actionable insights that inform product development, drive user engagement, and enhance overall product experience.
You will design and develop dynamic visual dashboards that enable real-time monitoring of vital metrics and empower partners with self-service data exploration tools.
You will communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing decision-making.
Requirements:
You must have proven experience in a product insights role, analyzing complex data using SQL, Python, or R.
A degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field is required.
Knowledge of modeling and statistical methods, such as forecasting, AB-testing, or feature engineering for machine learning, is preferred.
Experience in the book publishing industry, consumer-facing digital apps, or other media, entertainment, or technology fields is highly valued.
You should be proficient in crafting insightful dashboards using Tableau or Looker Studio.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive, productive relationships with colleagues are essential.
