Remote Data Scientist

Description:

• Imagine Pediatrics is an innovative, tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group focused on providing quality care for children with special health care needs.
• The Data Scientist role is critical for leveraging data insights to improve patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Responsibilities include communicating with business stakeholders to translate goals into ML/AI models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimizing data collection, and developing ML models using clinical, claims, and social determinants of health data.
• The Data Scientist will independently query Snowflake and prepare data for exploratory analysis and modeling.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience, with proficiency in Python and SQL.
• A strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methods is required.
• The ability to work with and present findings to non-technical staff across the organization is essential.
• Experience in a start-up or growth environment is required, with healthcare experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, and/or Tableau is necessary.

Benefits:

• The position offers a base salary range of $135,000 - $170,000, along with an annual bonus incentive and a competitive benefits package.
