Description:
As a Data Scientist at Scalable Capital, you will contribute significantly to generating business value through modern machine learning technologies.
You will identify and work on use cases together with stakeholders throughout the company, including Marketing, Client Support, and Compliance.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing data solutions of significant business value using advanced statistical or machine learning models and classical descriptive solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to identify new opportunities for data-driven innovation.
You will take proactive responsibility for end-to-end implementation, including brainstorming, idea generation, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
You will drive continuous improvements and optimization of data science models and pipelines.
You will work on a modern cloud (AWS) stack and contribute to decisions on technology usage.
You will communicate findings and advanced analytics concepts to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
You will work in an ego-free environment as part of a motivated, fast-paced, and result-driven agile team.
You will stay up to date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
Requirements:
A university degree in a data science-related field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or natural sciences, along with relevant working experience is required.
A data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, are essential.
Very good programming skills in Python are required.
You must be confident in programming with modern data science and visualization libraries such as scikit-learn, pytorch, transformers, and bayesian statistics.
Good knowledge of modern supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, as well as classical statistical models, is necessary.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS), MLOps, and version control is required.
Strong project management and organizational skills, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality, are essential.
A strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment is necessary.
You should be eager to continuously extend your knowledge of modern data science algorithms and technologies.
A sense of humour is appreciated.
Familiarity with the AWS landscape, including SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS, is a plus.
Experience with marketing mix modelling and an interest in financial services and markets are also advantageous.
