Description:

• The Data Scientist position is a remote role available for candidates in Costa Rica and Colombia.

• The role involves designing scalable data models that transform raw data into consumption-ready formats for analytical and business audiences.
• The Data Scientist will develop efficient and robust data pipelines to support the designed data models.

• The position also includes developing curricula and content to facilitate the growth of the Stratus team based on learned experiences.

Requirements:

• A Ph.D. in Engineering, Applied Math, Science, or an equivalent field is required; alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields along with 3+ years of relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Candidates must demonstrate extreme thoroughness and attention to detail in their work.
• The ability to communicate complex subjects effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
• A strong orientation towards collaboration and enabling peer growth is required.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in software engineering, applied machine learning, applied statistics, or optimization.
