Description:

  • Titan Cloud is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Data Science team, focusing on building, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
  • The role involves conducting data analysis and contributing to the development of algorithms that support fuel optimization.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data science and Python development, with the ability to work on complex datasets and turn raw data into actionable insights.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining data pipelines for real-time data processing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting statistical analyses, and utilizing Python for scalable code.
  • The Data Scientist will work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to align data-driven insights with business objectives and implement data validation processes.
  • The role also involves creating visualization tools and dashboards to communicate insights to internal teams and customers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in Data Science, Python development, or related fields.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Python for developing machine learning models, algorithms, and data processing pipelines is essential.
  • A strong understanding of statistical analysis and experience with SQL for database management is necessary.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda) and deploying machine learning models on cloud infrastructure is important.
  • A strong mathematical foundation in Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra is needed.
  • Candidates should have experience with data cleansing and ingestion processes for large-scale datasets.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies for software development is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences are required.
