The position is for a Data Scientist to join their ambitious team in Athens, which is fully remote.
The role offers broad exposure to machine learning, big data analytics, and predictive analytics.
The candidate will be part of a highly innovative team that builds hybrid, proprietary algorithms to offer data science solutions.
Daily responsibilities include extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various databases and in different forms.
The candidate will maintain, test, cross-validate, and enhance existing machine learning models.
They will co-develop fast prototypes of machine learning models such as clustering, classification, regression, and econometric models.
The role involves co-developing with or communicating data engineering guidelines for the productization of research models.
Conducting A/B/n testing is also part of the daily tasks.
Requirements:
A BSc/MSc in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a similar field is required.
The candidate must have an excellent command of Python used in Data Science projects.
A working knowledge of SQL is necessary.
Familiarity with big data frameworks and NoSQL databases is a nice to have.
A working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Java is also a nice to have.
Experience with recommender systems is considered a plus.
