Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Data Scientist to work remotely from the United States for one of their clients.
The role focuses on improving pediatric healthcare by utilizing data science to enhance clinical outcomes for children with special healthcare needs.
Responsibilities include developing machine learning (ML) models, analyzing data from clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH), and delivering insights that impact patient care.
The Data Scientist will support the strategic goals of the business by providing actionable data-driven recommendations to enhance decision-making across the organization.
The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate healthcare goals into actionable ML/AI models.
The Data Scientist will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, and build data assets.
The role involves developing and refining ML models using clinical, claims, and SDoH data to generate insights and improve patient care.
The Data Scientist will independently query and manage data in Snowflake, preparing it for exploratory analysis and modeling.
Presenting findings and insights to non-technical staff in a clear and accessible manner is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience, with proficiency in Python and SQL.
A strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methods is required.
Experience working with healthcare data and a deep understanding of its complexities is preferred.
The ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders across the organization is essential.
Experience working in a startup or growth environment is necessary.
Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, and Tableau is considered a plus.

The position offers a base salary range of $135,000 - $170,000, plus an annual bonus incentive.
