Remote Data Scientist (Risk)

Description:

• The Data Scientist will be part of the Risk Team at CloudWalk, which is responsible for building a defense layer to protect the company, its merchants, and users from fraud.
• The role involves developing and optimizing machine learning models to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Responsibilities include analyzing data, building predictive models, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance risk management processes.
• The position requires handling large-scale datasets, extracting insights, and developing algorithms to safeguard the ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Python and SQL is required.
• Proficiency in machine learning libraries such as Scikit, PyTorch, and TensorFlow is necessary.
• Experience with cloud-based services, particularly the Google Cloud platform, is expected.
• Solid data visualization skills to create charts and dashboards are essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling significant amounts of information are required.
• Candidates should be detail-oriented with a strong research mindset.
• The ability to work autonomously in a remote and distributed team while being highly collaborative and self-driven is crucial.
• Effective communication skills are necessary for interaction with multiple teams.
• Proficiency in both English and Portuguese for communication and debate is required.
