The role involves innovating ML algorithms to maximize ROI and advertising performance, which includes creating new algorithms, improving state-of-the-art methods, and developing a deep understanding of classic methods.
Responsibilities include writing production code, collaborating with Data Engineers, prototyping potential algorithms and pipelines, testing them using historical data, and iterating based on insights.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field; dual degrees are a plus.
The ability to take an ambiguously defined task and break it down into actionable steps is essential.
A comprehensive understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning is required.
Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms is necessary.
