Rockerbox is seeking a Data Scientist with Engineering Expertise for the Application Team, which is responsible for delivering analyses within the Rockerbox platform.
The role involves collaborating with product managers and the App team to define and achieve product feature goals, ensuring optimal data delivery to user interfaces.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust solutions to support application functionality and integrating data science insights into product development.
The candidate will take ownership of testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data as it moves from backend systems to end-users.
The position requires bridging data science applications with core application development to enhance the team's understanding of technical and business aspects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of combined experience in software engineering and data science.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, APIs, and data science concepts is required.
Fullstack experience in delivering analysis or dashboarding products is necessary.
Practical knowledge of algorithms, models, and data structures relevant to marketing analytics is essential.
Experience with front-end technologies, specifically React, is required.
Expertise in testing and experimentation methodologies is necessary.
The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders is a must.

The position offers a base salary of $175,000 along with equity options.
It is a remote-first role, allowing employees to work from anywhere in the US.
