Description:
The Data Scientist (aka The Data Whisperer) will uncover hidden insights from vast datasets and turn data into actionable insights that drive critical business decisions.
This role involves building predictive models and using data to solve complex problems.
The Data Scientist will work alongside a talented team of data engineers and product managers.
Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
The role requires building and deploying predictive models to solve business challenges, such as customer segmentation and demand forecasting.
The Data Scientist will create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to translate complex data insights into understandable reports.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
The position involves designing and conducting A/B tests and experiments to optimize product features and marketing campaigns.
The Data Scientist will collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing.
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI is crucial for this role.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is necessary, along with experience in data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or Spark.
Expertise in creating impactful data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn is essential.
A solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and experimentation is required.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is necessary.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in data science or machine learning being highly valued.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science is required, with a proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models.
Experience with large datasets, data engineering workflows, and cloud-based data services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is necessary.
Proven success in delivering data-driven insights that have influenced business decisions or improved product performance is required.
