Description:
The client is seeking a Data Scientist, also known as The Insight Alchemist, to uncover insights from large datasets and influence business strategies.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to transform data into valuable insights.
Key responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets, developing machine learning models, creating data-driven recommendations, and delivering insights that drive product development and optimize business processes.
The Data Scientist will perform data analysis and modeling, develop predictive models, conduct data exploration and feature engineering, and collaborate with teams to understand their needs.
The position also requires designing and conducting A/B tests, creating data visualizations and reports, and staying current with advancements in data science and AI.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong knowledge of data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, with experience in tools like Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Proficiency in data wrangling and feature engineering is required, along with experience working with large datasets and preparing them for machine learning models using SQL, Pandas, or similar tools.
Hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis, is essential, as well as familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Expertise in creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights is necessary, with the ability to present complex findings in an understandable format using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in data science also valued.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a proven track record of generating insights from large datasets and driving business decisions.
Experience with cloud-based data services for model training and deployment is highly desirable.
